About me and my life story
I am 18 years old, and ever since I could remember I wanted to dance. I have been dancing for 7 years and 2 out of the 7 years I did cheer. I was really excited to know that South had the Media and Performing Arts program. I wanted to continue dancing and this program gave me the chance to continue and improve my dancing. I have met great people through dance and have made a lot of connections. I am super grateful for this program and my teachers. I will forever be grateful for the friendships I have created through this program.
I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. My family all came from Mexico and being immigrants it is hard to get a decent job. I have always dreamt about being in a studio and dancing everyday of my life, but with money issues it was hard for me to pursue that dream. So I am beyond grateful that both my middle school and high school had dance programs so that I can live my dream of dancing.
